Olympic Message

The Olympic message is “The most important thing about the Olympic Games is not to win, but to take part...just as the most important thing in life is not the triumph, but the struggle”. Baron Pierre de Coubertin - Founder of the Modern Olympics said these famous words. The Olympic message has probably inspired lots of athletes to excel in their sports and strive their hardest to win.  I agree with this statement because life isn’t about winning it’s about having fun and participating.

I think that the Olympic message means that it’s not all about winning it's about participating and having fun. I also think that you have to learn from your struggles so you don’t have to go through anymore hard times. Athletes have to eat the right food (diet) and train really hard. They have to give up spending time with their family to train. I think that this would be quite a hard thing to do. They would need to have a positive attitude so that they can win. They need to have the right mindset.
